technically its two since it's only a little after 1am (or you know, almost 2!) but the end is near.

i'm currently at 47k, close to 48k. After making my 5k on thanksgiving, slacking off on black friday and writing three thousand in the past few hours, i'm getting ready to call it a night. i'm saving the epic comeback scene that's coming up for tomorrow, when i'm more awake. i wonder how obvious it is.. lol :33

i'm like a little kid. only i'm excited over pretty lame stuff, lol..

has given me some interesting stats based on my NaNo site numbers, which are a little different from my actual chart stats. Regardless, I am 5622 words behind at the start of the day. I've written a little over a thousand words since then, but still a ways to go!

I'm currently fighting off turkey and wine (from yesterday lol) sleepies, and just general lethargic crappiness that is life in general. As much as I don't like to admit it, I'm ready for November to be over.

Here's to 40k and beyond, woo.

I should hopefully break 30k tonight. Which still puts me a good 6-7k behind in the last week. But that just means I have a lot of time for that big, epic comeback right? Where I come back to win it all at the very last minute!

Hopefully. This isn't a movie, so it's doubtful. But it would really suck to come this far and still lose. Before when I lost, I only made it to 10k or less. So it wasn't a huge investment of my time. But this has been a lot of time and work to get to even near 30k. That's more than halfway. I'm also getting to interesting points in my story (finally) which should help things to stay moving. <3

So it's officially November 16th (I originally typed the 26th, if that were true I'd be in considerably more trouble!).

That means I'm supposed to be anywhere upward of 25 thousand, the halfway point of the month.

Oh shit.

I'm currently resting around 16k. Which puts me a nice, even 10k behind. I'm sure there are plenty of people who are just as bad or even further behind than that. Let's not give up quite yet, right? Have your "omg i can't do this ffff" moment and move on. Use a few dirty tricks (mine: skipping all the boring nonsense to a plot point i've already established, go back and write that other crap later) and catch up. :)

I have ideas running around in my head, but in a few days I'll probably start putting some ideas down on paper. Most likely at work on Tuesday if I have nothing to do.

I'm currently sitting at 3.3k, which is right on target for the second day. I'm hoping to write a few more words before midnight and tomorrow in general. I would really like to have any extra words as I can, just in case. I know some really crazy day is going to catch me off guard and I won't write very much at all.

I need to get one of those widgets that automatically updates my progress. Maybe I can stick it somewhere on here and won't have to put it in every post. ..not that anyone reads this. but it's for myself. if you read it, awesome, leave me a comment. writing buddies and people who understand nano are always awesome. :)

after not writing anything at midnight (there were too many interesting, drunken conversations going on for me to start writing) I managed to write 2k words in the afternoon to about 7. (I didn't write straight through, probably an hour total.)

So instead of planning my novel like I should be, I spend more time browsing the NaNo forums. (Which are really nice, btw. but that's beside the point). And I read through the Fantasy forum. And I find that my novel doesn't really fit into the typical fantasy mold that most people seem to use. Basically, it's a alternate universe. Not full of elves and dragons etc. But that alternate universe isn't /really/ based off the current world, though it may be inspired by it. There isn't really magic or any fantastical creatures. (Though maybe there should be? Hmm.. if I can do it without everything going crazy, maybe I will think of something. ^^)

I don't know, just thinking. X3

Now maybe I can actually go plan. And give my characters more than just names.

Today (well technically yesterday since it's almost 1am) I didn't do very well in terms of writing. I spent most of the day shopping. XD Away from the computer, it's pretty hard to write. But I managed to write 1,308 words for the day (yay for my chart) which puts me on schedule thanks to the extra words I wrote the first day!

I think I might start writing for Sunday already.. which is going to be a very boring day like Friday. Though I'd like to do some homework along with writing. ;x

I got my caffeine fix finally. <3 And no money was eaten in the process! Woo.

I can't believe it's the 3rd already. I finished my 1,667 a few hours, and now it's time to start alll over again. At least November goes fast, and then I'll be done with this semester of school. Let's just hope the next one works out better than this one. D: I shouldn't say that until it's over, I guess.

This has more non-nano ramblings than it does nano ones. XD Uhh.. my story has made some progress, though not quite as much as I'd like. I have this feeling I stay in one place too long and ramble. My characters think. A lot. X3

I'm finding myself dead tired at 5pm. And I even got up early on a Friday (11:30 lol).. I don't know what's going on, so the only thing I can think of is the lack of caffeine. I haven't had it on a regular basis since I ran out and I'm probably going through an addiction withdrawal. I need moooaaaaaaarrrrr. n_n

There /is/ a vending machine down the hall which sells soda. Which may just get raided later on tonight. It's cheaper than buying it from the stores, but when you pay the extra 40 cents at the store, that's kind of the 'I won't eat your money and not give you soda in return' fee. XD

Oh.. writing.. I'm only at 900-something words for the day so far, but I wrote some extra yesterday. I'd still like to get to at least 1,667 so I'm going to write more. Hopefully with a caffeine hit. x3

After lots of waiting and not so much planning, November is here~! I started writing around 1am last night and wrote for about an hour, just to get a start. I didn't start at midnight because I was playing Scrabble with my roommates, which is hard. <<;

Last night I wrote about 960 words. And I'm finishing up my daily word count right now. But is the internet ever distracting. D: I should make it though, well.. I have to. XD Being behind on the first day isn't really a good start is it?

November 1 is coming up .. fast. Really fast. XD I haven't really done a lot more planning.. I need to figure out a bit more of the plot before I start writing the story. That was my main problem last year, lack of plot. I just wrote random stuff that didn't really go together in a good plot. <0<

The weather is terrible, and we just turned on the heat for the first time. Winter is coming. Good thing I'll be in my room writing, and not outside! (Well, except for class and ceramics. XD)

I came up with my other two MC's last night. One is kind of annoying me already, due to his young, over excitable nature. The other one is pretty sweet. I have to admit that's he's partially based on Balthier from FFXII. But that's not a bad thing, right? ;D

On another note.. the weather absolutely sucks today. It's been rainy and blah. n_n; So much for leaving the room to do ceramics work. This leaves room for more NaNo planning in a few hours when it gets late and I start to get bored. XD

I made pudding, which I shall eat now. Woot.

So how many days until November? X3 It's getting pretty close now - and I'm still not comfortable in terms of my plot, or lack of one. I have this general idea, but it's pretty broad and I need to figure out exactly (or a bit closer) what I'm doing. But one of the main things is done.
